Development History

The Vietnam Securities Economy Electronic Magazine was formerly the Vietnam Securities Times Electronic Newspaper, publishing its first electronic page on April 17, 2012. This is also the day the Ministry of Information and Communications issued License No. 628/GP-BTTTT allowing the Vietnam Securities Times electronic newspaper to operate as a press agency in the Vietnamese revolutionary press system.

In 2020, implementing the Government's Press Planning, the Vietnam Securities Times Electronic Newspaper took a new name: Vietnam Securities Economy Electronic Magazine according to Electronic Press Operation License No. 62/GP-BTTTT dated February 21, 2020, of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Since its establishment, the Vietnam Securities Economy Electronic Magazine has been divided into two periods: The period from April 17, 2012, to March 31, 2020, under the name Vietnam Securities Times Electronic Newspaper, and the period from April 1, 2020, to the present under the name Vietnam Securities Economy Electronic Magazine.

Organizational Structure

The editorial office has 30 personnel including specialized Departments:

• Editorial Secretariat;

• Reporters Board;

• Administration Board;

• Media and Event Organization Center;

• Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City;

• Specialized pages including: Investment Knowledge; Listed Enterprises; Financial Market;

• Vietnam Journalists Association Branch;

• Grassroots Trade Union.

Guiding Principles, Operational Purposes

The guiding principles and purposes of the Magazine are: Updating the activities of the Vietnam Association of Securities Business, periodically updating information in accordance with the law for in-depth, specialized information, introducing and publishing scientific research results, participating in consulting, and criticizing policies regarding the securities sector, contributing to building a developing stock market in a fair competitive environment. The target audience includes members of the Vietnam Association of Securities Business, financial investors, securities investors, and interested readers.

The Magazine is positioned as a specialized electronic publication on the stock market, focusing on communicating the activities of the Vietnam Association of Securities Business: Securities companies, products, and services of the securities company block, and fund management companies to protect their rights as well as become a forum for this block of companies. At the same time, providing investors with information to decide on selecting the services of the Companies.

The Magazine is a mouthpiece with the function of policy criticism and consulting for investors. On the other hand, placing investors at the center to provide information about the stock market including commodities (stocks, bonds, covered warrants, fund certificates, derivative securities...), trends (up/down), securities data, identifying investment opportunities, risk warnings, services of financial institutions...

The difference between the Vietnam Securities Economy Magazine and other securities information channels is: Official, objective information about the activities, products, and services of the securities companies and fund management companies block. Providing useful information with much added value for investors. The content of commentary and criticism articles has scientific and practical grounds, contributing to improving the level and knowledge of investors as well as the sustainable developm
