Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ky

Chairman

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ky is the Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Securities Business (VASB) for Term IV (2022-2027). He is one of the long-standing experts who has been attached to and witnessed the entire development process of the Vietnam stock market since its early days.

Before being elected as Chairman in March 2022, he had served as Vice Chairman and Secretary General of VASB since 2003.

He is an active supporter of building the market towards transparency, openness, protecting investor rights, and playing an important bridging role between securities enterprises and state management agencies.

Mr. Phan Quoc Huynh

Permanent Vice Chairman

Mr. Phan Quoc Huynh serves as the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Securities Business (VASB) for the fourth term (2022–2027).

Mr. Phan Quoc Huynh is one of Vietnam's pioneering senior lawyers and financial and securities experts, with extensive experience accompanying the development of the country's capital market since its early years. He concurrently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SBS Securities Joint Stock Company.

Representing VASB, Mr. Phan frequently provides in-depth market insights and policy recommendations to regulatory authorities, contributing to the improvement of the legal framework and the enhancement of transparency in Vietnam's securities market.

Mrs. Hoang Hai Anh

Vice Chairwoman & Secretary General

Ms. Hoang Hai Anh is the Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of VASB for Term IV (2022 - 2027).

Besides her executive role at VASB, she is also the Vice President of the Hanoi International Arbitration Centre (HIAC); Vice President of the Vietnam Independent Directors Association (VNIDA); Independent Board Member of Rong Viet Securities Corporation.

Previously, she was the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of PetroVietnam Securities Incorporated (PSI). She graduated with a degree in Banking and Finance from the National Economics University, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Economic Law.

She plays a key role in promoting ESG sustainable development for member companies, is a leading member in compiling the Code of Professional Ethics for the Securities Industry, and has made many contributions to perfecting the legal framework of the Vietnam stock market.

Mr. Johan Nyvene

Vice Chairman

Mr. Johan Nyvene is the Vice Chairman of VASB for Term IV (2022 - 2027).

He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC) after excellently fulfilling the role of CEO of HSC for 13 consecutive years (2007–2020).

In addition, he is an Independent Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Nafoods Group JSC; Board Member and Member of the Audit Committee at Dragon Capital VietFund Management JSC.

He is evaluated as one of the veteran financial experts with a deep understanding of the Vietnamese capital market and more than 30 years of experience working in an international environment.

Mrs. Nguyen Ngoc Anh

Vice Chairwoman

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh is the Vice Chairwoman of VASB for Term IV (2022 - 2027).

She also holds the position of General Director of SSI Asset Management Company Limited (SSIAM). Under her management, SSIAM manages assets up to billions of USD and was honored as the Asset Management Company of the Year in Vietnam. She has more than 17 years of dedication and contribution at SSI Securities Corporation. Before moving to manage SSIAM, she held many key positions, especially Director of the Investment Banking Services Division at SSI.

In addition, she is also a Board Member of several listed companies in sectors such as: oil and gas, food, and aviation services.

She holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Wollongong, Australia; an MBA from the University of North Alabama, USA; a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the National Economics University, and a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages from the Vietnam National University of Foreign Languages.
